How is the Curl Score calculated?

We read 2 public Reddit discussions and logged each person's opinion of each product as positive, mixed or negative, and members add theirs when they review a product here. The Curl Score puts those on a scale of 1 to 5: every opinion positive would be 5, every one negative 1, and an even split 3, with a mixed opinion counting as half positive. Passing mentions aren't opinions, so they don't count, and each person counts once per product. Every brand is scored the same way, but these are comments, not verified purchases or a survey.     I just commented this but yes! I think the naturals line has been discontinued, which I loved for my hair (not a huge fan of the curl talk shampoo/conditioner but do like their leave-ins). But I got so frustrated I switched to granite fructis shampoo/conditioner

    The only product I like of theirs is the refreshing foam. I find it works well on my day 2 hair. Their gel was too hard for my fine, curly hair. The mousse always left a weird texture. The leave in was okay, but I have had better.

    Couldn't fully try the leave in conditioner because the scent was SO STRONG. I can deal with some fragrance, especially in wash out products. The scent lingered too.

    The leave-in conditioner and flash freeze gel are holy grails for me. I like the curl cream and their bond building products. Also, the fragrances of these products are light and pleasant.

    I don’t know if they changed the formula in the Organic pink line, but last time I tried it there was so much buildup in my hair. I do love the Curl Talk leave-in, though.

    They are my favorite, I use the leave in conditioner, mousse and gel. Surprisingly the gel holds but doesn’t feel or look like gel in the hair. I get the same result pretty much every time with this product, but I also have a strict routine, haha. I used to use their shampoo but I’ve switched to Saltair.
